In Security in Sudan

 

 

Don’t be

 

Anxious, even though you number 2,000,000 dark, displaced, withered

 

Refugees in the skeletal land of armed Arab nomads and black pastoralists; land of

 

Furs where 200, 000 have perished over 850 miles of pipeline.  Don’t fret

 

United Nations will investigate your sister’s rape, cousin’s beheading.  They’ll

 

Redraft another peace accord.  Don’t worry—every

crisis cloud has a silver sword.
